Stephanie Howerton and Jenny Rawson de Venegas
2371 Kiesel Ave. Ogden, UT 84401
Stephanie and Jenny; moms, entrepreneurs and artists, met while selling their pieces at local festivals and boutiques. Together, they formed The Local Artisan Collective, an amazing venue that offers local artists somewhere to sell their work, teach classes and have studio space. The collective showcases work made by artisans and crafters who live, or work, in Weber County.
The Local Artisan Collective is nestled in the heart of The Junction at 2371 Kiesel Ave. in downtown Ogden. Community members are welcome to check out the space and shop during regular business hours. Special classes and community opportunities also are available at various times. Visit www.localartisancollective.com for more information and follow @localartisancollective on social media to stay in-the-loop.
Creatives have downtown access to a collaborative space through The Local Artisan Collective. The collective provides opportunities for the community to purchase local art, which lends to the mission of the Nine Rails Creative District – supporting creatives. The Local Artisan Collective also provides the downtown community with unique ways to engage with art through classes, workshops and other special programming. With the collective being open to the public in the heart of The Junction, it increases pedestrian traffic while offering an easily accessible way for the community to experience various mediums of art in their day-to-day lives.
